Hexmesh is a unique flexible cellular steel that acts as a surface framework, holding refractory materials in place to minimise erosion and retain refractory materials in furnaces, kilns, incinerators and reactors, and perfectly complements dense hydraulically and chemically bonded refractories in terms of erosion resistance.
HESLY Hexmesh is widely used as a refractory material in power generation, chemical, petrochemical, cement, steel, oil and subcontracting industries to greatly improve the resistance to heat corrosion and wear to minimize erosion and preserve refractory materials in furnaces, kilns, incinerators, pipelines and reactors.

The main style of HESLY Hex Mesh
|
Hexmesh: Bonding Hole Type Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another. |
Hexagonal Mesh: Pronges/Lances Type this style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory.

Hex mesh is flexible and easily conforms to circular shapes, which allows it to be rolled. It is ideal for lining ducts, furnaces, reactor vessels, cyclones, flue gas lines and other high temperature equipment of virtually any shape or configuration.
Hex steel is put to use in many industries including power plants, chemical industry, cement plants, steel, petroleum, power generation and other large devices. Hex material can largely improve the heat erosion and abrasion resistance.
